The Round the Island Race is the fourth largest mass participation event in the UK, after the London Marathon and the Great North and South runs. Starting and ending in Cowes, the event will be staged on Saturday, July 1. The huge fleet will be split into classes of similarly matched ratings — all starting from the famous Royal Yacht Squadron line.
